Why Apple is using Apple Developer Program to help train teachers

Apple has been using its developer program to train thousands of developers in India, where the company has a massive presence in retail.
Apple has invested over $100 million in Indian tech companies over the past four years, including a deal to build a new $3 billion factory in Hyderabad.
It is also the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer.
The company has been expanding its efforts in India by offering a number of other incentives, including incentives to attract talent to the country.
India’s Education Ministry recently announced an ambitious plan to invest $6.5 billion in its educational system by 2020, including the creation of 2,000 new schools and 50,000 additional teacher training programs.
Apple also plans to invest at least $2 billion in India to create its India retail stores, said a statement on Wednesday.
